With lots of updates, new inovations and improved features, Sony has finally revealed the new Play station 5 which hit the shelves at November 20, 2020. But with the release of the console, disputes among different gamers rose as well. Xbox users claimed their console is heavier while the play station users still think Xbox isn’t worth buying. Today we will talk about some basic features and compare them with each other making the best console win!

Specifications:
Let us take a look at the basic specifications of both consoles. Playstation 5 has a AMD Zen 2-based CPU, 16 Gigabytes of GDDR6 memory, 8 cores at 3.5GHz and yes, custom RDNA 2 AMD GPU that easily delivers 10.28 TFLOPs of processing power.
While talking about its features, we can say, this next generation console is equiped with ray-tracing, a super-fast SSD, a built-in 4K Blu-ray player.
Now let us discuss the features of the rival console that is Xbox X. The central processing unit of Xbox X consists of 8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.8GHz (3.6GHz with SMT) 7nm. GPU of Custom RDNA 2, 12 TFLOPs, 52 CUs at 1.825GHz, Memory is about 16 Gigabytes GDDR6, and storage is about 1TB custom NVMe SSD.
The game graphics are much improved and have about 120fps support. Which makes it one heavy duty console as well.
Design:
The Sony Playstation 5 has a very unique design. a white-and-black design that is used to match the controllers, which are included in the box aswell. It consists of two white panels, which are housing the black device itself. The device has a very unique design, which looks like it has come from Sony’s own futuristic game innovation.
Sony Playstation CEO, John Ryan said in an interview, “We wanted to try doing something daring and bold” further more he added “We want to make something which is future and forward facing aswell”. The interview was given to CNET.
When coming to Xbox, they truly created a beautiful design aswell. The company desgined it in the form of a vertical box, which looks like a small PC. If we call it a towering symmetrical machine, that wont be wrong.
Controllers:
Controllers or the Analogue sticks are the important components for any gaming device. The advantage of having a PS5 controller is the addition of, all new HPATIC FEEDBACK TECHNOLOGY, this allows to trigger vibrations of various types, depending upon the games and action. If your driving a car or punching a character the vibrations will change accordingly. The Adaptive triggers and the motion sensors have been equally upgraded and advanced as well
Xbox X controller is more bigger and mightier and in our opinion, a bit more comfortable in our opinion. One of coolest features is that you can use an XBox X controller with any previous One series console as well. The specs of the controller has not changed that much, all though they made it bigger than the old version.
